I have always been somewhat of a beauty aficionado. I
appreciate beauty in nature, architecture, paintings, and designer wear and of
course the human face. The human face being of particular interest to me as it
is something that instantly attracts and as humans, we can relate to it the
most.
Movie stars and celebrities rise to great peaks and make
fortunes based on their distinct looks. It is said that a thing of beauty is a
joy forever, this is true as looking at a beautiful face can make one joyous.
Some of my favorite faces in celebrities are of actress Ava Gardner’s and male
actor Pierce Brosnan’s. Studying beauty in depth, I came to learn that beauty
in nature and in human faces is determined by something termed as the “Golden
Ratio”. The Golden Ratio is a proportion of 1: 1.6 that has been observed in
beautiful faces, architecture and in nature.
Having such deep insight of beauty, I would naturally spot the
flaws in my face although I was generally very grateful for looking presentable
and having fully functional physical features. My one area of concern was my
nose- I felt that my nostrils were a bit too wide for my face. When I would ask
my friends that, they would say that it looked fine but when I calculated my
golden ratio, it said that my nostrils were actually too wide in proportion to
my lips.
I felt that narrowing my nostrils a bit would greatly enhance
my beauty. I would often squeeze in my nostrils to see how it looked in the
mirror and I would like the results. I went online to see the results of nose
surgery and was thrilled to find out that Nosesurgery in Dubai was an option available for me. I booked a consultation
session at a cosmetic surgery and after an in depth; talk session and I
discovered a lot about nose surgery. I found out that the particular surgery
that I needed was known as an Alar Based Reduction, which involved narrowing the
nostrils and reshaping the nose.
I was ready to go in for the procedure and I chose general
anesthesia as my sedater of choice. I felt more comfortable with that. I was
unconscious during surgery so do not remember feeling any sensation or pain,
after I woke up I had bandages on my nose and I was told to go home and rest.
After two weeks, my bandages came off and I witnessed a
remarkable beautiful difference in my nose. My nostrils were smaller, the
bridge of my nose was more chiseled and my face looked more harmonious over all.
